Established
in Söderköping in 1986, NorCoat AB moved
to Norrköping in 1994. The following year, the sister
company NorCoat Nord AB was established
in Edsbyn, some 200 km north of Stockholm.
The company has since the start manufactured
coated paper materials for forms and labels, and patch
coated one-time carbon paper. In later years, the production
has increasingly been concentrated on paper laminates
and dry gummed papers (‘stamp paper’).
Currently,
NorCoat is one of the World’s
few manufacturers of patch coated carbon paper.
